Web Browsers and Google

There was a time when almost everyone surfing the internet was using the internet explorer. Now it seems like Mozilla Firefox is the people’s choice when it comes to web browsers. But that title might not sit with firefox for long as google has just recently launched its own web browser called Google Chrome. They even had Scott McCloud, famous for his Understanding Comics book, do a comic on Google Chrome to explain how it works and what’s special about. Only time will tell if Google Chrome will be the king of web browsers the same way as google.com has become the king of search engines.

The answer to the ultimate question!

Reading comics is cool. Playing video games (anywhere using your PSP) is awesome. Being able to use your PSP to read your comics, now that is priceless!! Move over 42, the real answer to ultimate question is :drumroll: PSPComic (well, for the comic lovers at least).

A few months ago, I stumble upon a program called PSPComic which allows you to read comic/manga scans in your PSP. Now I’m not going to tell you how to get comic / manga scans (if you haven’t seen one then you are not looking hard at all) but I can definitely tell you that reading in PSP very enjoyable and installing is very easy as well.

Things you need to know to start reading comics in your PSP
1. Know the firmware of your PSP (the folder where you need to copy the PSPComic files depends on the firmware of your PSP.
2. Download PSPComic. It’s great and its free.
3. Get sample comic scans or create your own.

The picture is not only readable but is actually very good. You can have it be fitted on your PSP screen horizontally or vertically and there’s also a zoom function in case you want zoom in on some areas. Great work to the dude who invented this program. DC and Marvel should be using this time to work on how they can distribute their comics digitally or electronically and capitalize on synergies with products like the PSP.
